Free up your neck with this muscle activation for the SCM muscle (that’s the big one either side of your neck that rotates the head from side to side and flexes the neck.)
Run your fingers along your collar bone (clavicle) towards your sternum (chest bone) until you find the end of it. Slide your fingers on to the front surface and apply pressure and small circular movements to that spot for about 20 seconds. (It may be tender.) Then gently turn the head from side to side and slowly lower and lift your chin to explore your range of movement and ease tension.
